No Birth control before ivf cycle. Normal or not?

I am starting IVF Meds this month after 2 failed IUIs... My clinic does not do birth control protocol before stimulation meds. Is that normal?.

Yep I did bc before my transfer, but not before the retrieval

My clinic doesn’t do it for retrieval or transfer unless you are already on it or have a special situation and require it. Otherwise they start with your natural cycle.

Yes I didn't do birth control before stims. I did start it after the next period do get my ovaries down in size and get ready for my FET
