Did y’all have birth control side effects

Question

People that are on birth control, did y’all or are y’all experiencing side effects. I am on my second month of taking it and I am not feeling normal like I did before I was on it. What are some of the side effects, of any that you guys had?

Mood swings bruising & stiffness in my arm due to implanon it was the worst the pill gave me nausea

I was on the pill for two years. My first few periods were extremely heavy and painful, then it made my period disappear. I didn’t realize how anxious it made me until I stopped taking it recently, about 5 months ago. Its like a wave of clarity came over me. My period is almost back to normal.

Yes  I  experienced  side effects from my  birth control  it was  bad enough that  I  would  get  dizzy and  lightheaded and  headache  moodswings had to   take my
 birth control  at  night  before  going to bed just  make sure  it's okay with your  doctor to take  your birth control at night   he  or she may say  it's  okay  but  just depends on  if  yr  on   any other  medication

I’ve experienced increased sex drive, acne here and there, sore breasts, increased discharge, cravings for sweets. I started up on a new method. And I was extremely dizzy at work yesterday. My moods haven’t been effected yet.

I got mine a month ago and bren getting bad moodswings, tiredness, dry skin on the face and feel sick now and again..... not had my periet YET tho and im dreading it im due on soon....

I experienced migraines from the hormonal pill. I was on it for so long and had migraines and never realized it was a side effect. I've now quit hormonal birth control all together for about 3 years now

Only positive side effects. Leveled out my mood, gave me consistent and shorted periods (though my flow is heavier but I'm not complaining since I went from 7+ to 3 days), may or may not have helped me gain weight which I desperately needed to, and cleared up my acne (though not perfect). My PMS is a bit crazy, but 100% better than before.

at the beginning I was exhausted 24/7. It got me super frustrated. Which was also a side effect. I've just been kind of going through the motions of the side effects. At first I was tired. Now my skin is dry. But I'm not tired anymore. Thank God I haven't been gaining weight. But I'm not normally a very hormonal person in the first place so having his extra hormones and these moods have been throwing me off. I have the wonderful boyfriend who understands that I'm doing this for both of us. And he make sure I'm comfortable all the time and he gets me food and gives me massages. So just relax and understand that your body will balance it all in a few months. I'm very excited for that. I've also decided that baths help. If you go to Walmart and get queen V bubble bath... It helps me relax so much. my boyfriend also had been doing some research about hormones and my dry skin and he picked me up some amazing hydrating face cream and spray and it's been working amazing. So there are ways around it just be patient.
