Inducing because baby is too small? 36 week appointment

Question

Has anyone ever been through this? My doctor says I look small and my belly is measuring small
He scheduled a growth ultrasound for Monday and mentioned we may have to induce if they are too small
Anyone gone through this and had a normal ultrasound? Or been induced and baby was fine?

I have marginal cord insertion which mean my baby may be small my high risk dr told me towards the end if she is measuring too small she will induce me bc it's better for the baby to be out than in

My son was 5 lb 9oz when I was induced at 37 w 5 d and he was happy and healthy! He measured small so I got induced due to my uterus not being able to grow anymore.

My friend just went through this in December she was 36 weeks and the her baby was not growing enough so they thought she would have a better chance of gaining weight on the outside. She’s doing very well now!
