Did/will you have a party for your kids first birthday?

I don’t think I’ll have a 1st birthday party for my future kids. I’m unsure about 2nd birthday but the 3rd I will probably plan a party. 
What did/will you do?

I don’t mean like invite a lotta ppl over but every kid will get some sorta small bday every year w family and maybe close friends w small kids. That’s what I got. I’m definitely not spoiled as I’ve grown up rather poor and with many siblings. I don’t want my kids to be poor but I don’t want them to think they can get whatever they want. But also they need to know they’re loved so a cake some friends and a few balloons is the least I can do. Im still 14 and I’ve missed a birthday or two already because we can’t afford a party but breakfasts in bed and a few presents it’s good with me🙃

We did a small celebration with our parents. We figured our son was too young to remember, his bday is in Dec so it’s a busy holiday season anyway and I was in my third trimester with his brother. For his second birthday (and his brother’s first) we will probably do a combined birthday since my second baby was born in January which is obv close to December).

We're going to have a party with just family. I'm honestly super excited about it haha. My youngest and last will turn one this August and I may be a little extra since she is my last

Yeah I did, actually she had 3 first birthdays hahaha. My parents threw her one, my husbands parents thew her one, and then the one I threw. Probably be the same with my second as well. But for her second we didn't do a huge bday just family, and I made the day all about her

My daughter celebrates her birthday twice.  One on her actual day and one on christmas eve(my side of the family they live in another state) We only do them at our house and invite close family and friends (usually around 14 people for each side) Maybe when shes around 5 well do them outside the house somewhere but for now (shes 2) at home is fine with us.

He’ll probably have three parties because having only one means 50+ people (we have large immediate families), which sounds overwhelming. So we’ll do one for my side, one for my husband’s side, and one just the three of us on his actual birthday.

I took my little one out for a pizza with a couple of friends who had helped me out since she was born. She was too young to know what was going on.

I did with family. My kids are my parents only grandkids sk they wanted to make a big deal of it. Wasnt extravagant or anything
