A big disappointment at my appt today

I'm 38W2D second pregnancy, unfornately with my first I had an emergency csection due to umbilical cord prolapse. It's been 4yrs since and due February 17th. I was a candidate for a VBAC, but how I see things makes me want to go ahead and tell my OB to opt for a schedule csection instead. I got checked today and the baby hasn't dropped, my cervix is still closed and I don't want to go through hard labor again just so I can get another unexpected csection if things don't go as planned... My SO says be positive but idk that's how I feel at the moment 😔..
