Late? Too early to test

I am four days late for my period, which I’m never late for. But because the one and only time I had sex since my last period was only a week ago I’m sure it’s too early to test and know for sure. When can I test?

I tested 2 days after my missed period because I had a very regular period. I would be 1 day late every now and then, but NEVER 2 days late and my test came out very dark positive. I would most definitely test especially since you say you’re never late! I used an 88 cent pink dye test from Walmart! They work really well and it wouldn’t be a waste of money if it came back negative.
