Please Read

So, I found out 1/22/2019 I was pregnant thru a hpt. I started bleeding at 5 weeks on 1/31/2019. I went to the ER (per my O/Bs request) and they did blood work which my levels were 35. The ultrasound didn't show anything because it's too early. My question is shouldn't my home pregnancy test be getting lighter if I had a miscarriage and because my levels are so low? My line is getting darker on the FRER. My bleeding has almost stopped today 02/04/2019. It is like a light brown discharge now. Pics below.
