It's pretty common as you often get the cm the days coming up before ovulation as well.
Cm is affected by high estrogen, and when estrogen is high enough your body starts going on with ovulation and produce lh, which is what the tests are checking.

Either you missed your ovulation day or it’s coming up. I would just keep testing at least 2 times a day and see if you ever get a positive. If you do not then you will know you missed it.
