So I got my IUD implanted on January 2nd of 2019 and immediately after I started my period. For the first few days I used pads but then I put a tampon in and I was fine. Now I’m on cycle number 2 of February 3rd and is currently February 4th.

Am I risking getting PID using tampons within the first month of insertion? I feel fine and I’m not showing any symptoms of infection but later on will there be? And also is my iud prone to move if I use a tampon?
