Suddenly hating bath time 😢

My soon-to-be 6 month old has suddenly started to hate bath time. He will start to cry even when we bring him into the bathroom. Then he begins screaming once he is in the bathtub. Has anyone else experienced this? It’s heartbreaking because he used to LOVE baths. It’s also a part of his bedtime routine so it makes it hard when he gets all worked up.

Any ideas? We have played with water temp, dim lights, getting in the tub with him and trying the shower instead....
