Slow and steady progress

I’ve had a few people ask me now I got my abs. This is exactly 2 months progress and the left photo was even 2 months after starting my fitness journey. I’m still working towards more prominent abs. The hardest thing about making a change is permanent and healthy change takes time. Instant gratification does not exist, not unless you deprive yourself and if you do the end result isn’t a long term change usually and old habits can come back quick.

Most of weight loss is diet. What you feed your body your body takes for energy and stores either for fat or energy. I don’t cut out sugars, carbs and alcohol completely. I just eat more of the good and limit my bad food intake.

Another important note is to keep at it. There will be days when you don’t want to go workout but if you have the time and even the slightest bit of energy, just do something even if it’s just for 30 minutes. You don’t have to be at the gym for 2 hours either to see good results. Intense 30 minute sessions are better than not intense hour sessions.

Lastly is do it for YOU and no one else. What I’ve learned is it’s a lifestyle change. It’s all about mindset. Dig deep, wet realistic goals, and know you are your only limitation. Educate yourself, know what you want and go after it. Don’t let your mind trick you into thinking you won’t achieve your goals. “Nothing worth having comes easy.” And I’ll tell ya, it makes it that much more rewarding 😊💪💕
