Backstory: I went on a first date with this guy I met on Bumble. It was fine, he seemed chill and we even made out at the end of the night.

Anyways, we’ve been texting since then, but his most recent messages give me ‘clingy’ vibes, and I can’t handle clingy people.

UPDATE: these were just the texts from today. He was also texting me a ton yesterday while I was out running errands, which is fine. I had mentioned that I might watch the super bowl and he asked me several times if I was watching or if I’d gotten home from errands yet. I was out with my sister, which he was unaware of so I will give him the benefit of the doubt. I think that’s where my annoyance began and it continued into today with him asking for “updates” throughout the day.

I get what everyone else is saying though. It’s seems more forced than clingy. I’ll just let it be for now.
