Last month I took a pregnancy test, and it was positive, clearly positive, I also took a digital and it was also positive.. at what would be 5 weeks pregnant I started bleeding on the 9th for about 45 mins, and then started bleeding again on the 11th and had what seemed like a normal period which would have been 10 days late (I'm never ever late)

My friend this month took 2 tests 3 days ago and they were clearly positive, one digital and one non digital. Yesterday she started lightly bleeding and than stopped and than started bleeding again.

Blood tests were done on me and my hcg showed negative as well as the urine tests done by ER

My friend went to the hospital today hospital refused to do blood tests but did 2 urine tests and both came out negative.

Is it really possible the same situation could have happened to 2 people?

I've just been chalking it up to false tests or possible miscarriage but it really bothers me that I don't know which it is for both of us.
