Nexplanon vs My Uterus

So I was supposed to start my period today and I'm late. I got nexplanon inserted on the 18th last month so It's been just over two weeks. I took a test and I am not pregnant. I wore tampons for two days before my period is supposed to start just incase it came early and I only get some signs of spotting. Like tonight there was a noticeable amount blood but not enough to say that I’m spotting.

What I’m trying to get at is, Would it be too early to tell if I’m not gonna have a period or have light periods?

I don’t wanna get my hopes up. I really don’t want to deal with my periods.
