Breastfeeding & period???

So I’m exclusively breastfeeding and I’m 7 weeks postpartum and I just got my period and I’ve heard a lot of women don’t get their periods while breastfeeding so I’m a little confused is this normal?? I also started taking the mini pills I’m like 4 days into taking them.. idk if that factors into me getting my period??

I got mine 4 weeks pp, while exclusively breastfeeding, and I had regular ovulation every cycle after that... I felt like I got scammed 😂

I got my period 4 weeks after birth. Then last week I was ovulating and let me tell you that was a hard week to get through. I was exclusively pumping and my supply went down drastically! Then Sunday I was by my moms and forgot my flanges and bottles! So I tried getting LO to latch. She took to it thank God but I do feel like I got jipped now having my period and ovulating sucks I'm way more sensitive and definitely an asshole. Feel bad for my family.

It might not actually be a period. I was on the mini pill for about a month and bled almost the whole time while my body was trying to get use to it. I ended up stopping it and switching to an IUD and now just have occasional spotting but nothing like a period since then

Ugh. Mine came back at 5 months postpartum. 😭 it sucks! I totally agree!
