Sick before labor

Did anyone get sick before going into labor? I know every pregnancy and labor is different, but looking to see if this has happened to any of you. I’ve been feeling fine all week then all of a sudden in the middle of the night I woke up hot, then started feeling nauseous with chills. This morning I have diarrhea. I’ve also had a brown discharge on my toilet paper twice when I’ve been to the restroom. It wasn’t really thick like a mucus plug though. I really hope it’s labor near and I’m not getting sick. I’m scheduled to induce a week from today.
