Back to Work Tips?

Question

I have to do drop off with my little one when I go back to work Monday. Any tips for making getting up, ready and drop off smoother?!?!

I get my son’s diaper bag ready the night before and get all his food cut up and in containers. I wake up earlier than I used to so that I have time to get me ready and then time to get my son ready. Honestly prepping the night before is the biggest help!

Do as much as you can the night before, that was important for me. And first week or so it’s best to just drop baby off and run, no hanging around, it can add to your anxiety and baby’s. My SO does pick-up, I always asked him to take a picture of the day’s log when my son was a baby so I knew stuff like if he would be grumpy from a short nap or expecting a poop.

Depends on the age of your baby, really.  With an infant, the main problem is you, lol.

I just assume everything is going to take longer than I think it will, so I get up an hour earlier than usual. It’s tough at first but not having to rush (and - gasp! having time to have coffee!) makes it worth it 😃
