New mum Coping with ocd
I have cleanliness ocd(if that makes sense)... I want everything to be sparkling clean all the time and this was one of the things my husband and I use to argue about because the littlest thing that he did would annoy me. For example, dropping something on the kitchen worktop and not cleaning it off immediately 😡 now the thing is that I am now a mother. My child is one year old and of cos in that stage of turning the house upside down and messy eating. Now here’s the thing, how do I stop all this from driving me crazy? My child should be able to play with food as much as he wants to like a child should! But I do not allow it... I wouldn’t even allow him to feed himself. I don’t like feeding him solid food because he gets it everywhere. I know this sounds crazy but is anyone out there the same as me? How do i manage it?

It’s easy for someone to say “chill” but it isn’t easy for me to just chill. I have tried to chill, I have tried to overlook it but I just can’t
