Hey everyone! I need your help! So the reality of my pregnancy has kicked in and I figured I’ll start a little pre planning.

So here’s a few facts:

Less than 10 ppl know I’m pregnant (& I don’t really plan on sharing, I decided to take this pregnancy more personal and private) a

I don’t live near any family or friends

I’m choosing not to know my baby’s gender this time

Here’s the pros and cons I have so far:

I personally hate gender neutral clothes (baby shower con)

I don’t want a lot of germs around my baby (sip n see con)

Ppl can know exactly what to bring and get to see the baby (sip n see pro)

Baby showers are fun (baby shower pro)

Might be too exhausted to party (sip n see con)

And then there’s one thing I HATE to mention but it’s true: I had a really hard pregnancy last time around, they told me to prepare myself for a stillborn, so I did. I emotionally shut down, I couldn’t really enjoy the baby shower bc I kept thinking how hard it would be to return everything if my baby didn’t make it. And that same numbness and anxiety carried over to this pregnancy, I sort of don’t want to throw a baby shower bc I’m nervous something bad will happen. But I can throw a sip n see after my baby has safely and healthily made it here.

So, thoughts? Anything to add to the pros or cons?

Btw our first child is here (3) and healthy besides the physical disabilities he was born with! He’s excited to be a big brother.
