I think intimacy and sex are different. There’s many ways to be show intimacy other than sex. Both are very important to a healthy relationship for sure.

Yes intimacy is important. No sex is far from the ultimate intimacy. That makes me laugh it's so absurd. I had sex with my boyfriend when I barely knew him. Didn't mean shit 🤷 It's way more intimate to lay in bed with him and cuddle and be 100% comfortable that I can tell him anything in the world and he'll still love me

Sex is not big in my life or my husband’s. When we do have it, it’s more loving than erotic. I don’t feel dissatisfied though - and upon reflection I think it’s because we are so very intimate in a host of additional ways. 
So it’s not a tool for us to be closer, or a weapon, or a routine for us to fulfil - but rather just another way we worship each other.
So I think sex is a great component of marriage, and often very telling of your connection as it’s something that digs deep into your vulnerability. But I think in a healthy relationship of marriage - it’s part of a much bigger picture.

We’re extremely intimate but that doesn’t always mean sex. We express and have intimacy in sooooo many other forms but I think that’s what makes our sex so passionate and bomb every time 🤷🏻‍♀️

Sex is a big thing for me. I like making them feel good and I also like feeling good "obviously". It just makes you feel so close to one another. But, it is a combination of things not just sex.
