What do you think about waiting for marriage 😝

So my mom waited for marriage for religious reasons, I want to do it because of my values and kinda of like see if I can do it and resist...Keep in mind i havent had my first kiss so this has helped me a lot.But I want to get the comments and thoughts of you guys!!!@

I think it’s admirable to wait due to religious convictions, but I’ll tell you it really has to be something you and/your future someone feel strongly about. Hormones and emotions tend to be overpowering if you aren’t careful.

I wanted to wait untill marriage. But sometimes the urge is to strong to keep saying no. Good for you tho! Alot of people are having sex way to young these days.

I was raised very religious and my mom always told me to wait until marriage. At first I agreed and I told myself to wait until marriage. Little by little my mentality started to change as I started seeing sex as a normal thing instead of this holy/sacred ritual. I recently had sex for the first time and I don’t feel any different than when I was a virgin. Don’t get me wrong, I did it after thinking about it carefully and it was with someone that made me feel comfortable and honestly he turned me on very easily lol Either way I don’t regret it.  
To each, their own. There’s nothing wrong with waiting until marriage or doing it before marriage. If you wanna wait then wait but I think it should be a decision made by yourself not because someone tells you to. And if you change your mind eventually, again, it should be your decision not anyone else’s. Don’t fall for peer pressure especially pressure from boys.

I’m not religious so I didn’t wait.  But I don’t regret that. My first and only person I have been with is my husband we just were not married.

We were both sexually active before we met. We had sex. Tried to stop 3 or 4 different times and wait until marriage. We were living together and sleeping in the same bed together. And not having sex was miserable. I felt unwanted. We decided to get married sooner than originally planned so we wouldn't be 'living in sin' anymore.
