Please help! TMI TMI

Okay so I’m pretty sure I have herpes anyways but a maybe 2 months ago after I shaved down there I noticed what looked like an ingrown hair. So no big deal but it starts to look like it’s growing over what I thought was the hair. Recently more and more have been appearing and I just thought they were more ingrown hairs because I shaved recently. So I looked up pictures of Genital skin tags which is sort of what it looks like to me and according to the internet their most likely nothing to worry about but if anyone has had the same thing please comment what you found out about yours!
