Postpartum depression?

Any mommas here have postpartum depression? I’m really struggling right now, and my husband keeps telling me he thinks I might have it. I just want to hear other women’s experiences. Maybe some encouraging words for this first time momma would be nice too🥰

I had it really bad after my 3rd. It was pretty dibilating. I isolated myself. I felt resentful of my husband, resentful of my children. I had to call my best friend one night after I got the kids in bed because I had this strong feeling of wanting to kill myself. It was horrible. But I never got help. I kept thinking I could deal with it and it would be over soon. I wish I had gotten help. It lasted 14-15 months. It really doesn't hurt to talk with your dr about what you're feeling. Ppd is normal but it can be horrible.

If you think you have it please get help
ASAP and do not wait. My biggest regret was waiting so long and thinking I could do it on my own. Just know how you feel is temporary and is normal!
