Can you work out how far along you could be from when you had sex?

Answer

It depends entirely on when you ovulated and when implantation takes place. 
Since sperm can live inside you for around 2-5 days on average, you have about 6 fertile days per cycle in which you can actually get pregnant. The 5 days leading up to ovulation and then the day following. If you have sex any time during those six days, you could get pregnant. It takes about 2 weeks after ovulation to confirm pregnancy since implantation occurs between 6-12 days after ovulation, with 9 being most common, and 2-4 days after implantation for the hcg to increase to detectable levels. 
So you could have sex 4-5 days before you ovulate and not find out that you’re pregnant until almost 18-20 days later, or you could have sex the day of ovulation and find out within 2 weeks or slightly less.
