When to tell my boss??

Question

So I am 10 weeks!!  Yay!  But am interviewing for a management position at work in a week or so...  
when do I tell my boss I’m pregnant??  During the interview?  After but before they announce who got it?  If I get it do I tell them when they offer it to me??   So lost...

You tell them when you have the job. You tell them when you start to show. You tell them when it’s time to make parental leave plans.

They don’t need to know. You don’t even need to tell them until you need to take maternity leave. It’s none of their business.

Don’t tell work until you are ready. Period. It’s not something they should consider in a promotion anyway. I didn’t tell work I was expecting till 18 weeks when I felt a little more confident in the pregnancy (after two previous losses).. your pregnancy and the potential for promotion are two completely separate things and you shouldn’t consider them related

You don’t need to tell them until you’re at least 5/6 months or showing—and that’s merely for the purpose of planning for maternity leave. You can’t wait until it’s time to take maternity leave like someone else said because it requires some planning to get it all sorted out.
