Shoes or just socks?

Don't pay attention to the mitten, he rubs his eyes and scratches his head when he's sleepy lol

He cant even walk yet just let him be a free baby for now. Id be so uncomfortable in shoes at that age

We’re not putting shoes on our daughter until she is walking or trying to walk. Before then, it’s just one more thing that gets in the way of a diaper change in my opinion. Plus, as an adult I don’t wear shoes unless I have to, so I’m not making my daughter either

My son turned 1 in January and just started wearing shoes then and he’s maybe worn them 5 times. He doesn’t walk yet. My pediatrician said shoes are for walking outside or in public and otherwise he shouldn’t wear them.

They both cute, Id stick with the socks but having shoes on every now and then won’t hurt him either especially since they look like pre-walker ones

I literally didn’t start putting my son in shoes until he could stand or really start walking for that matter. My husband and I didn’t see a point in buying baby shoes for a baby that can’t use them for their purpose 🤷🏼‍♀️

Depends on time of year and weather conditions for me when it comes to infants. But I'm the type of person that prefers to always have socks or shoes on personally, so generally, my son (4 yrs old) almost always has socks on and shoes if we are going out. He prefers it that way too now

Honestly I’d say it really depends on your climate. If it’s warm enough to get away with it, definitely just do socks! If it’s cold and/or snowy, I would be putting shoes or boots on him. He’s super cute btw 😁

So I only use socks until baby can walk BUT if you’re asking what would be cuter for PHOTOS?  Shoes.

I tried to hit socks but accidently hit shoes lol. I would use shoes just for pictures but besides that my daughter didn't wear shoes until she was 10 months and walking about. They are cute for pics though 😁

I think the shoes are stinking adorable and will probably put my LO in a pair at least once just for hell of it.
