What type of formula did you feed your newborn?

I plan to breastfeed but if I cant I'm not sure what to bring as far as formula.

Similac Pro-Sensitive was all that worked for my last but she had been breastfeeding for months when I switched her so maybe that's why? I used Gerber Good Start Gentle with my son before her. I can't remember what I used with my first (he's almost 12 now).

I also plan to breastfeed but just in case I’m debating between similar supplemental for breastfed babies or Enfamil Enspire they’re both really gentle and same consistency as breast milk I used the similar with my son.

If you can't breastfeed most hospitals will provide formula. It's up to you from there whether to stick with the brand they've used or switch to a different one.

My hospital provided similac so that’s what I used with my first

I used enfamil AR after breastfeeding. It was the only formula that worked for my little girl

Hospital started providing Similac Advance but my son wasnt tolerating it. We went home and he still couldnt keep it down. Went to his pediatrician and she switched his formula and he still didn't want to breastfeed. She gave me a sample soo i started him with Similac Sensitive. Sure enough that was the one but better late than never. A week after he started breastfeeding and didn't want the formula anymore. Soo he became an exclusively breastfed baby.
