Swimming?

Question

Is anyone else concerned with the Chemicals used in a pool to swim in while pregnant? I know swimming is an exercise they say is good for pregnant women but I’m worried about the chemicals they put into the pool. Anyone else??

I went to swim classes with my daughter every week for like over three months of my pregnancy and baby boy was perfectly fine. I mean unless you’re drinking the water you should be fine.

Now that I’m getting later in my pregnancy, swimming is one of the only exercises I can tolerate. My doctor and I have discussed it and they aren’t concerned so long as you aren’t ingesting excessive amounts of pool water.

Yeah I worry too, I take my son to swimming lessons and last week I had a big splash of water right in my mouth 🙈 I’m secretly like nooooooooooo 
The rest of the lesson I tried my best to keep mouth closed and limit my Talking haha 
I’m pretty sure it’s safe, I look it at this way how many people swimming when pregnant and I haven’t heard of any health alerts or anything. 
I still worry though about all chemicals

Personally, I’m not. However, my mom runs a salt water pool. So if t does concern you, maybe try looking for salt water pools in your area! I can actually open my eyes in her pool because it just feels like tears.
