Saving breastmilk?

Sometimes baby doesn’t finish the bottle and it really stinks to half to throw away breastmilk. I’ve read that it’s safe to save that milk up to 4 hours after feeding, then to toss it if they don’t finish it by then. Anyone else have tips or similar experiences?

Kellymom.com (maybe .org) is really helpful. I read it’s okay to heat it twice but not more than that. If the nipple is more than an hour old since the feeding, change it.

Breast milk is good one hour after given to the baby due to bacteria.  When my daughter was unpredictable in what she would eat, I kept milk in the fridge.  We would start with what we knew she would eat and give more if needed.  It really sucks to pour your hard work down the drain.

I think within 1 hour in the fridge cause as soon as the babys mouth touch the bottle bacteria makes its way in and spoiled it fast.. how old is baby? doesnt have a feeding amount set yet? mine stood on 4 oz from beginning every 2 hours to about 2 weeks ago I started giving 5oz 4 times a day cause she is 1yo now and eats 3 full meals and 2 snacks during the days.. I tried giving her 6oz and she drank only 5 like she knows her amount lol..
