Implantation bleeding?

Has anyone experienced implantation bleeding right before their period? I’m 12 dpo and my period is due Monday. When I went to wipe right now I noticed a very light pink spot on the tissue. It was so light and small that I didn’t even realize it was there. I also had a ton of egg white cervical mucus. Has anyone experienced this and still got a bfp?

Implantation (on average) normally occurs at 9 dpo, as early as 7 dpo, or as late as 12 dpo. And although implantation ‘bleeding’ is rare, it certainly could be implantation bleeding.
However, unfortunately, cervical mucus is not an indicator of pregnancy; as it differs for every woman.
