No pantry??

Okay ladies so me and my SO just leased out a townhouse/condo and we fell in love with it because it’s so quiet and we have a little pond as our view. It’s just so cute for me and him. Well we realized there was no pantry. No biggie, but where are we going to store the dry foods? There is an empty space next to the refrigerator on the left but he doesn’t want it out in the open so I was thinking maybe in the cabinets on the right of the refrigerator?
