“Adult” name VS “baby” name

So obviously I wouldn’t name my kid something that is only “cute” for a baby/small child and not really work for an adult.

BUT I am having such a hard time wrapping my mind around my newborn having a “grown up” name.

Ex: my moms name is Kimberly. Very adult sounding, but for the life of me, I cannot picture a newborn/small child named Kimberly. Even the nickname Kim is “adult”

Or like the name “Michael”... it’s an adult name and not cute for a kid, but very normal in the adult world lol. Mike sounds like a grown ass man.

Anyone else get what I’m saying? Am I crazy? 😅😂
