Grieving SO

So I posted a while back that my boyfriend lost his brother recently. & I asked what i should do. People said be patient, give it time. But like lately more and more my boyfriend is angry and easily irritated and bothered by things. We’ve fought and he ended up telling me can’t give me my “old” relationship back. That emotionally and mentally he doesn’t care for anything. I was so hurt and upset by what he said. & I’m just at a lost now. I’m not sure what to do. Advice?
