When my Mirena was first put in, I loved it. It was a great option because I didn’t want kids for a long time, I didn’t have any side effects, and I wasn’t getting any kind of period. I struggled SO hard the last 9 months or so with my Mirena IUD. I was constantly cramping, feeling like absolute crap, just not wanting this stupid thing in anymore.

Last Friday, I went to my doctor to get it removed, and she pulled and pulled and it didn’t come out. She was convinced it was embedded and I’d need surgery to remove it.

Yesterday, I went to an OB, she pulled two times, and the little devil came right out.

So happy to be rid of this thing FINALLY. I’ll never get one again.
