What are people’s thoughts on various genetic tests? We got tons of info thrown at us today and I can’t seem to figure out the best option. Doc says we should do a screening test and only if we come back as high risk should we move onto Amnio or CVS. My biggest question is what screening test is better: a NIPT or sequential screening? My doctor seems to like the sequential, but is that just because NIPT is relatively new (and he’s an old school doctor)???

Also- if you just get the NIPT, can you also request an NT scan? It seems like the combo gives you the same information as a sequential screening, just with earlier results.
