Baby rejecting the bottle?

My LO is suddenly refusing the bottle!! She only wants breast and she is almost 4.5 months. Help! Is it too cruel if I wait for her to be very hungry so that she will take the bottle? So far she’s been pretty persistent on not taking it at all....

Start by using a nipple shield. Baby will 6 and distraction. Even cartoons (I used Powerpuff girls 😂) then baby will forget and kinda eat on Auto pilot. Be consistent.

Are you formula-feeding her now? Or feeding her cow milk? If so it could be the taste. If you are just trying to have breast milk in a bottle, the spectra bottles are more boob like. And while I can understand your rationale, your daughter just doesn’t have the same understanding; she’s hungry and expects you to fulfill her needs. I wouldn’t expect you to keep her in a dirty diaper because you want her to only go at certain times: why put off feeding her?
