Two names?

1 am thoughts:
What if my daughter doesn’t look like the name I have picked out for her?!?! 
Should I have another name for backup? Anyone else that has done this? 🤔

We had a backup name ready for baby just in case he didn’t fit what we had decided. Luckily he matched the name. And to avoid getting comments on the name, or if we felt like changing it we didn’t tell anyone about the names before he was born.

I don't know what I'm having but with 10 days to go, we have a shortlist of 4 boy and 4 girl names so we can see what fits the baby best!

I'm always confused by this. How can he or she not fit a name? As if a name has some sort of rules and restrictions on what that person must look like to be called that...we picked a name we liked for my son way before we had even conceived. His name fits him because that's the name he was given and is called by. He shapes the name and identity. The name doesn't shape him.
I've heard people say about their own name choices, "Well, we changed our mind because she doesn't look like a Charlotte(or whatever name)"...and to me I'm always like, well what does a Charlotte look like? It just seems odd to me.
