Leg cramps vs. pregnancy labor contractions???

So I’m a first time mom and I just would like to get every 2nd time moms opinion!! The other night I got a calf cramp because I stretch while I was asleep and OH MY LORD it hurt so bad I was moaning and yelling and even started crying. I know that your uterus is a muscle and when in labor you get contractions that hurt like hell but will someone PLEASE tell me that they aren’t as bad as calf cramps, leg cramps/Charlie horses” 😩😣😭

Those leg cramps are the worst. Contractions are totally different, I wouldn’t say they’re not worse tho lol totally different. Regardless, you’ll be fine! If you’re ok with an epidural you won’t  feel anything.

It’s a different kind of pain but I would say they are worse! (Sorry) in my first labour though I got leg cramps during labour and that pain actually overtook the labour pain and I had to get my SO to rub my leg it was awful! I didn’t drink enough yesterday and I woke up in the night with leg cramps so make sure you drink plenty of water xx
