Has anyone bought anything for baby/nursery BEFORE actually being pregnant?

I've been TTC for 14 months with no success. Since before even trying there has been a piece of decor that I've always wanted for my nursery. It went on sale, like reallllyy on sale. And I love a good deal! So I bought it. Not knowing if I will ever get my BFP. I feel a little silly. But it has oddly given me more hope!

I don’t think this is crazy at all. I actually have done it because not matter what I’m going to have a child someday. I love Eric Carle and over the years have seen different items for a nursery in stores and online. I noticed on Facebook marketplace that someone was selling there whole Eric Carle nursery decor for $50 including the bedding from pottery barn around $300 worth of decor. I decided to just buy it! No baby yet but hopefully 2019 is the year! Baby dust to you 😊

I have almost everything for a nursery but still haven't gotten pregnant. If I find a good deal I get it. Eventually I'll either get pregnant or adopt so why not.

I voted no because I haven’t done that but I don’t agree with the silly part! If it makes you hopeful then it’s wonderful. I wouldn’t do it because I already feel depressed about not conceiving and I feel like it would just make me more depressed and angry
