So I’m currently 39+2 and was in hospital on Wednesday with reduced movements, they began to pick up again but they wanted to see me again the following day.. I went back yesterday and movements had slowed again and still weren’t normal.. they offered me a sweep and an induction I opted for the sweep but asked to go home and discuss induction with family.. The mw couldn’t perform the sweep as my cervix was slightly too high and she could only just touch it with a finger tip (tmi) however if he hasn’t began moving more at today’s appointment then the induction will go ahead.. is anybody else terrified of being induced? I’m a FTM and she couldn’t do the sweep so I’m scared I’ll be in hospital for days and it won’t work.. I don’t want to distress baby.. any advice or support...
