baby hates tummy time?

My baby HATES tummy time. Everytime I lay her down on her tummy, she just screams. She absolutely hates it. Anybody else’s? I’ve tried to put toys in front of her and everything but nope! She also hates her car seat lol. If you’re not holding her, she’s pissed. It makes it so hard to go grocery shopping by myself, I usually have to bring someone else with me to help. I’ve even put her car seat in the buggy and she screams. Idk if it separation anxiety or what. I figured she’d like looking up at the lights in Walmart.. any ideas that may help? I see other people’s babies and they do just fine in their car seat. Oh, and she hates car rides too lol.

Separation concerns start around 6 months old? How old is she? Try her tummy time naked, my boy hated it but tried it naked and learned quite quickly 😂

My girl used to hate the car seat, and my husband is away a lot, so I would just babywear whenever I had to go out. She also hated tummy time for the longest time. I started going really slow, starting on her back and rocking her side to side, doing bicycle kicks, playing with toys. We would just to little bits on her tummy ever now and again and eventually she started accepting it and is now doing well.

This is how we get through grocery shopping! I don’t even both trying to keep her in her car seat anymore. This is much easier and gives me more room in the cart.

My LO is funny, she’s fine in the car seat if it’s on the stroller but hates it in the car! She loves white noise and motion so you’d think she’d love car rides, but nope! I’ve pretty much given up taking her anywhere alone.. she’ll scream bloody murder the whole ride! Also, not a big fan of tummy time either but we try do a lot on chest at least or propped on a boppy, which she tolerates longer than flat on the floor.

my daughter hates tummy time, carseat/car rides as well. screams the whole time. she can hold her head up very well when sitting or being held upright but she just doesnt wanna lift it from a laying down position. I don't worry too much about it as I've had tons of friends whose babies hated tummy time but still hit all their developmental milestones.

Have you tried putting her on her tummy over your chest? My baby is ok with tummy time, but if I put him on me I get a big laugh immediately 🥰

My daughter doesn’t like tummy time either, she just gets frustrated. She also isn’t keen on her car seat however is getting better (at times) she loves the car but does cry if we stop and she’s tired. She does however love to be on the floor and will lay on her play mat for ages, looking at and trying to grab the toys above her. My daughter isn’t keen on food shopping  however I have found she is better in the lay down seats in the trolley as she can see more and isn’t as restricted as she would be in a car seat so she can move her arms and legs a bit better. She is a baby that is constantly moving, kicking her legs, moving her arms etc, even at night time she is a right fidget 😂

Your doll is absolutely adorable!!! No, my babe doesn’t have an issue with tummy time but then again my husband started doing it with him when he was like 2 days old lol
