I went into labor on my own but ended up needing a c-section due to failure to descend.

Induced on June 4th at 8pm. I was 40+6 and still 0cm and 0% effaced. It took two rounds of Cervidil, two rounds of Cydotec, the max dose of Pitocin, and almost 56 hours. I wanted an all natural unmedicated birth and skin to skin for an hour after birth. However my doctor doesn't let you go over 41 weeks, also my son pooped on the way out and was having trouble breathing so he had to be put on oxygen shortly after birth. I pushed for an hour and a half and they almost had to use the vacuum because I was so tired. He was born at 3:27am on June 7th. 7lbs 14oz and 21 1/2 in
