Working in a paint store?

Question

Anyone work around chemicals and stuffs like that? I currently work at a paint store and we carry different types. I’m there only 3 days a week which is fine, but I’m wondering if being around the paint and lifting multiple 5 gallon buckets will be a problem.

I talked to my doctor about this today!! She told me 20-30 pounds MAXIMUM. In the beginning you can lift more, but as you become further along, less and less weight. 
As far as the inhaling chemicals, as long as there’s ventilation and you’re not inhaling too many fumes you’re probably good. 
But check with your doctor because everyone is different, especially with weight lifting
