Positive OPK...can this mean BFP?

Hey ladies! Just received my BFP yesterday (!!) but when I was using OPKs I always wondered if a positive OPK after ovulation could be a sign of BFP (pregnancy) as I know many others have as well - I’ve read a lot of posts about this.  Sooo I just took an OPK to see and thought I’d share. It’s a blazing positive. I know LH can also spike leading up to AF but just wanted to share 😁 Baby dust to all!!

So... LH is very close to HCG. 
But you would only have a blazing positive opk if your hpt was also very positive. 
It’s not a good substitute for early detection at all, because you’re right, the opk can look positive just before your period begins... if your hpt isn’t positive at that point, your opk very likely isn’t detecting a pregnancy.
