So the other day at work my manager was talking to me about my work position. I was working in the shoe department. So she called me in and basically said that if I didn't switch positions she'd have to cut my hours by a lot. I didn't want to switch over but I felt I had no choice. So the next day the store manager and my manager had a meeting about my position. She told him that I wanted to switch because I felt like I wasn't being challenged. That was definitely not the reason. I loved my position. So I guess what I'm asking is how should I handle it? I want to talk to her about it first and see if I can get my spot back but she basically tricked me into leaving. I want to have a conversation to her but I don't know how to say what I want without sounding like a douchepants.
