So I’m 22w and having a boy my BF and I have had a named picked out since day one. We told his mom what we wanted to name the baby and she said the first name is ugly and that she will be calling him by his middle name!!!! She always says that, so one day my BF put her in her place so now she just calls him “The Baby”. I have told a coworker about my sons name and she said that I need to get a more “Hispanic name” (since we are Hispanic)

because his name is too “White”. It’s just very disrespectful I know I shouldn’t care because it’s my baby but it’s getting annoying. Not sure if I should be petty as them and say something to them when they say something about his name or just leave it as is.
