Can the pregnancy test be wrong?

I’m 6 days late on my period and the test came back not pregnant. I know there’s other reasons I could be late but could the test be wrong?

Blood test? Not likely.
It could be stress, it could just genuinely be late, your hormones might be put of whack and it's messing with your cycles.
Have you started exercising excessively or anything? That can also delay it.

I just experienced this a week ago. My period is usually on time but it just didn’t come in January.  My mom assumed I was pregnant but there was no way. I took 3 tests all negative and I was on day 46 of my cycle. On the 1st of this month it finally came but it was just unusual. I don’t think you’re pregnant...so just keep can eye out and wait. Give it another week? If you aren’t so sure then do another test or maybe even do a blood test.

Very rare I’m sure. But a lot of factors go into it; ovulation, and all. Are you sure you ovulated when you did? I didn’t track anything & my cycle was late 42 days. I took 3-4 tests all negative. And, then shockingly got a positive. I obv ovulated later than the app predicted. 🤷🏾‍♀️👍🏾
