Does anyone only take their kids to the doctor when they are sick?

Does anyone not do yearly checkups?

My youngest is two and has never seen a doctor ever! Was born at home and is super healthy so no need for anything. But yeah my kids have to be really sick to go to the doctor( my oldest had febrile seizures and we took him). We treat most things at home with herbs, eat organic food and do everything as naturally as possible!!

Me! We’ve only gone to get established. My daughters not vaccinated, so no need for sick visits. 😉

My kids hardly ever go to the doctor and they’re as healthy as can be! When my oldest was starting Kindergarten she had to have a physical and she hadn’t been to the doctor since she was 18 months old. The doctor couldn’t believe how healthy, smart and advanced she was for her age. My second child is 16 months old and has only been to the doctors twice. Also my kids never get the flu and maybe a small short lived cold once a year. We eat balanced diets, drink lots of water and get plenty of exercise year round. We also try to eat local as much as possible as it helps with natural immunity!

My 8 year old has been to the doctor twice in the last 7 years. Once for an upper respiratory infection and once for his kindergarten physical. We have no reason to go so we don’t. He’s growing well and rarely sick. There isn’t much we can’t treat naturally at home.

We did the wellness checks when she was a little baby, but stopped after she turned a year.
