Sex after birth ?

One thing we don’t talk about ... sex ! Sex after baby ? How’s has it been ? How’s your partner been regarding it. Let’s talk about it ladies . Your experience after wards.

I slept with my partner 3 weeks after giving birth as soon as I stopped bleeding, I was scared it would hurt but it was absolutely fine and we were both so amazed at how it was just the same after giving birth.. but I did have a natural labour without any interventions and no stitches.. I think it would take longer to recover with stitches and interventions (forceps etc)

I’m 14 weeks pp and seriously terrified. Granted it can’t be as bad as a pain medication free birth, but still. Not to mention my lo is EXTREMELY high need so we never have alone time to even think about it. He’s reaching his breaking point and I’m reaching the point where I want to. We just need to find the time 🙃

I tried two weeks after I gave birth it was still very uncomfortable but I did it anyway . It just started feeling better now and my son is 13 weeks . I do notice that sometimes when I get horny my clit feels sore . Idk if childbirth kind of reconstructed my lady parts or I’m just paranoid lmao I’m super sensitive and have been scared every time of having sex even though ive been doing it . I  had a very traumatic birth and very very quick labor .

Almost 11 weeks PP here and me and bbydaddy just did for the first time last night(I had 3 minor tears from birth) NO PAIN! I’m SO GLAD I waiting as long as I did because I was honestly scared af for so long. Only position that worked though was missionary everything else hurt  ..
Ladies reading this.. wait as long as you need to! When you’re mentally and physically feeling ready then do it! Do not rush!

Haven’t tried yet. I’m still a little sore where I tore and I feel like it’s never gonna go away. My husband is asking though. 😬

My son is 11 weeks. My husband and I tried yesterday for the first time and it was painful. Too painful... I honestly don't know if I should call my doctor. But we are going to try again today lol.

I had a third degree tear. Tried at 6 weeks and it was too painful. Tried at 8 weeks and it was tolerable. Tried at 10 weeks and it was ok as long as we took it easy. I do have random pain around my clit occasionally even when we are not having sex. Not sure if it's related or not. But since I am EBF I've noticed I have less natural lubrication and less desire for sex.

Well after 2 months and 11 days of having my daughter ... we finally tried and no discomfort . Even might have gotten a slight orgasm. I was terrified !

did it at 6 weeks PP and it wasn’t too bad, we just took it slow but I actually think it feels a little better than before baby! I had a second degree tear
