I’ve recently been told that eating honey can be harmful to your baby and I’m talking about store bought honey is this true?

Honey is safe!! The risk of botulism is sooooo low and even if you were to contract it it does not pass through the placenta so baby is protected 😊 honey should not be given to children under 2 but they are protected by the placenta in the womb so enjoy your honey!

You can have honey while pregnant, but don’t give it to a baby until 1 year old... No raw or unpasteurized honey until age 2. That’s what I was always told and what I followed with all my babes.
